Where is the Istanbul Aquarium located?
It is located 5 km far from the old Ataturk International Airport. It is a park composed of 16 themes. Visitors will have the pleasure of crossing several atmospheres, a tropical forest, a cave of stalactites, an iceberg, a boat machinery, a glass tunnel, etc.
By washing your hands before, you can touch some specimens: starfish, a crab and others… with the help of a specialist from the Istanbul Aquarium who will put them in your hands!

How to go to the Istanbul Aquarium?
From Taksim, take the Yenikapı-Hacıosman metro, get off at Yenikapı and take Marmaray. From Marmaray go to Florya Akvaryum.
From Kadıköy take the Kadıköy-Tavşantep metro get off at Ayrılıkçeşmesi station, take Marmaray and get off at Florya Akvaryum station.
From Sultanahmet, Beyazit take the tram towards Bagcilar and get off at Aksaray station and walk to Yenikapi from there, take Marmaray towards Halkali and get off at Florya Akvaryum station.
Where do the free shuttles of the Istanbul Aquarium leave from?
Istanbul Aquarium has opened two offices, the first in Sultanahmet next to the Sultanahmet tram station and the second in Taksim next to the Marmara Hotel. You can buy your tickets at these offices and leave with the free shuttle – the Istanbul Aquarium free shuttle schedules are at 10 AM -11 AM -12 AM daily.

The aquarium is very well laid out, well worth the detour, interesting and fun.
